Kim Kozbial-Hess is a fourth grade teacher on special assignment for three city schools in Toledo, Ohio. As a data coordinator, she helps teachers acquire and analyze state and district testing data in order to make informed decisions about instruction. She is also responsible for teachers’ professional development in instructional technology and data-driven programs.
Ms. Hess was a member of the National Assessment Governing Board from 2002 to 2010, serving on its Assessment Development Committee. She holds both a B.A. degree in Elementary Education and an M.A. degree in Education from the University of Toledo.
