The Nation’s Report Card: 2019 NAEP Grade 12 Release

In October 2020, the National Assessment Governing Board and the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) held a virtual event with discussion and analysis of the 2019 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) results in reading and mathematics for grade 12 students.

Beyond NAEP, the event highlighted additional NCES data that lend insights into grade 12 students’ postsecondary plans, choices, and pathways.

Governing Board members also answered questions posed by leaders in secondary education, higher education, and workforce development.
