Dana Boyd serves as principal of Parkland Elementary School in El Paso Texas, with the Ysleta Independent School District, where she previously served as a teacher, assistant principal, and former principal of East Point Elementary. A veteran educator for more than 20 years, Ms. Boyd has won numerous accolades for her leadership. In 2020, she was named a winner of the HEB Excellence in Education Principal Elementary Award. Her other honors include 2016 Texas National Distinguished Principal of the Year, 2007 Texas Teacher of the Year, and a Hall of Fame induction into the El Paso Commission for Women. Ms. Boyd is also a member of the National Association of Elementary School Principals.
